BOOT CAMP WORKOUTS

If you are apprehensive about joining and want to see what a class would be like, contact us and if the numbers are there, we will try to arrange a sample class the week before the program begins.

What sets this camp apart from others?

  • Class sizes are limited so that you are observed, supervised and given different exercise options at all times - this isn't done aerobics style where 20+ people mimic the instructor and are left to their own devices to figure out if the form is correct. The class mandate is full body functional conditioning, with emphasis on proper exercise technique through optimal biomechanics and movement strategies.

    Classes are a hybrid of group circuit training, cardio, core, yoga, weight training and plyometrics, that builds in intensity over 6 weeks. All levels of fitness are welcome, as exercises can be modified to challenge everyone. We will be using a variety of equipment, including: resistance bands, Kettlebells, BOSU ball, stability ball, speed ladders, TRX, agility hurdles, medicine balls, and of course, the great outdoors.

    CORPORATE TRAINING PROGRAMS

    DRYLAND SPORT CONDITIONING

    Some of the same exercises as the boot camp program, but definitely stepped up a level for 2 classes per week. Exercises are designed to improve your overall body strength, core, balance, flexibility, speed, agility, quickness, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning.

    This class will help improve your sports performance, and is suitable for hockey, soccer, rugby, football, baseball, basketball and volleyball players. Participants should be comfortable with the squat, lunge, push up, and jumping exercise movements.

    CORE SOLUTIONS

    A class designed specifically to activate, strengthen and tone your core muscles and also bring you back into proper postural alignment. This class isn't about crunches, instead it will focus on working your abdominals, lower back, hip and gluteal muscles - basically Abs, Back and Butt- to help strengthen the core and properly align your pelvis.

    Classes are 45 minutes and will use stability equipment, medicine balls, kettlebells, tubing and non-impact exercises. Participants are asked to bring a stability ball to each class.

    KIDS' SUMMER SPORT CAMPS (check back soon for exact dates & locations)

    Youth sports conditioning drills that form the foundation for multi directional sports – soccer, hockey, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, rugby, tennis, and football.

    Young athletes will be taught movement patterns to move their bodies efficiently, not isolation muscle building techniques. The focus will be on developing balance, agility, strength, core stability and quick reactions in a fun and learning environment.

    PERSONAL TRAINING

    1 on 1 fitness training designed to constantly challenge you and meet your needs. Work out in the park or comfort of your own home, with minimal equipment and to the convenience of your schedule. All sessions are one hour in duration, 90 minute and two hour sessions may be requested. Rates are as follows:

    FIT FRIENDS

    All the convenience and challenges of our personal training but share the costs and motivation with a friend. Exercises can be modified to accomodate different levels within the group. We recommend no more than 4 people to recieve dedicated instruction. All sessions are one hour in duration, unless othewise agreed upon.

    WEEKEND WARRIOR

    Like personal training but with a twist. We can provide you with dryland sport specific training to improve your speed, agility and quickness and help prevent injuries and improve your sports performance.

    TEAM TRAINING

    Whatever your sport we can provide your team with dynamic dryland training workouts. Weekly, bi-weekly or montly training, even as little as 30 minutes during your practices. Contact us for details and pricing.
